Movie Night!

This Friday, Jan. 22 is Movie Night. We’ll be showing Big Hero 6 in the Snow School Gym. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the movie starts at 6:30 p.m. There will be popcorn and baked goods to purchase. Parents must accompany children. No drop-offs. Bring a blanket or sleeping bag, hang out with your friends and watch a free movie!

If you are interested in dropping off baked goods to support the PTA, we’ll have a rack outside the office starting Friday morning.

Hope to see you there!

Y-Ties have come to Snow Elementary

We will be doing a Y-Ties fundraiser this year at Snow Elementary. Y-Ties can be used as shoe laces, wrist bands, hair ties etc.  Y-Ties are $5.00 dollars per pair. Mr. Moyer will be sending home information with all students about the Y-Ties. There are many different colors and patterns to choose from. All proceeds will go to new equipment for the physical education program and field day expenses.  We are asking you pay with cash only no checks please.

Please check out Mr. Moyers blog for more info and email any questions to moyerm@dearbornschools.org

Teacher Wish Lists

As we approach the holiday season, please consider fulfilling an item from a teacher’s Wish List.  The “wishes” are posted on the bulletin board right outside the gym and will now also be posted on the blog.  If you decide to fulfill a wish, please either remove the wish item from the bulletin board or you can comment here and we will remove it from the list.  The lists will be updated to reflect current “wishes” as often as possible.
