Wayne State University is doing a research study in partnership with Dearborn Public Schools to cultivate a healthy school culture where teachers, students, and families are provided with the resources needed to adopt lifelong healthy eating and physical activity habits.
Snow Elementary will receive new curriculum and equipment for the Physical Education Program. Students will also be participating in planting and growing a garden at Snow Elementary.
Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade students will be bringing home an information letter where you have the option to opt out if you do not want your child to participate in the study.
