August 20, 2017

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Welcome to Snow School! We are very excited to have the opportunity to teach your child this year.

The first day of school is TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2017. It will be a half day of school for all students. School begins at 8:35 AM and will end at 11:45 AM on the first day.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 will be a full day of school for students in grades 1st-5th. School will begin at 8:35 AM (tardy bell at 8:40 AM) and end at 3:35 PM. Kindergarten students will attend 8:35AM – 11:45PM the first week of school. They will attend full days beginning on Monday, September 11.

I thank you in advance for getting your children to school on time and ready to learn. I look forward to seeing all of you on opening day! Please subscribe to the Snow School blog for updated information about the school calendar and Open House, as well as school events at https://snow.dearbornschools.org

We will be posting the class lists on the office windows facing Culver Street, adjacent to Door1 by 6:00 PM on Friday, September 1. Please be aware that we may need to make changes to your child’s class assignment after the school year begins due to situations beyond our control, such as late enrollments and/or teacher grade changes.

We’re looking forward to another successful school year!

*If you have multiple children at Snow, please speak to your child’s teacher and/or the office and we will work together to develop an alternate plan so your children can dismiss from the same door. For safety reasons, we cannot dismiss students before the bell to pick up siblings in other areas of the school.
