I apologize for stating there would be no fruit at the rest station this year. Fruit will be available provided it can be donated by parents and staffed by parents. We are looking for donations of fruit for Friday, June 9- we did watermelons last year and that worked well. It needs to be cut, ready and available for students to pick up and eat during the 10 minute stop. If you can help out with this, please see, call or email Ms. Zechar at zecharj@dearbornschools.org. We have 400 plus students but some are fasting for Ramadan so I do not have specifics on amounts. Leftovers can be taken back or sent home. We are encouraging students to bring refillable water bottles.
