Dear Parents/Guardians:
Welcome to Snow School! We are very excited to have the opportunity to teach your child this year. The first day of school is TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2016. It will be a half day of school for all students. School begins at 8:35 AM and will end at 11:45 AM on the first day.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 will be a full day of school for students in grades 1st-5th. School will begin at 8:35 AM (tardy bell at 8:40 AM) and end at 3:35 PM. Kindergarten students will attend 8:35 – 11:45 the first week of school. They will attend full days beginning on Tuesday, September 13. Please note that there is no school on Monday, September 12.
The school calendar is printed for your convenience on the back of this letter. I thank you in advance for getting your children to school on time and ready to learn. I look forward to seeing all of you on opening day! We will be posting the class lists on the lobby windows by Door 10 by 4:00 PM on Friday, September 2. Please be aware that we may need to make changes to your child’s class assignment after the school year begins, due to situations beyond our control, such as late enrollments and/or teacher grade changes.
Please join us for the PTA Welcome Back Breakfast in the cafeteria at 8:45 on September 6. You will have a chance to meet other parents and enjoy a peaceful transition into the new school year.
